Automuseum

In Wolfsburg, there is the Zeithaus in the Autostadt - a small but very nice museum of automobile history. But there also is a car second museum that I haven’t been to since my childhood: The Automuseum. Friends had received a voucher for having moved to Wolfsburg. We decided to join them and to check out the museum.

The museum exclusively contains Volkswagen brand vehicles and has a pretty extensive collection.

I was surprised to also find a few internal prototype vehicles there that never made it into production. Some of them were very detailed whereas others clearly were in early stages with some rough edges.

There were also special models like this T3 “Limited Last Edition”:

This Passat from 1988 shows the names of all employees that were working at Volkswagen at that time:

And finally, there was this Volkswagen CoupĂ© by Ghia Aigle which was Jessie’s favorite and reminded her of American vehicles of the 50s (but small and cute).
