Lindsey & Aaron's Wedding

It’s almost a year that I am now living in the U.S. Yesterday, two of the first friends that I made here got married. I had the honor to take their engagement photos a few weeks ago but for the wedding they hired professional photographers. Nevertheless, I still brought my camera and took a few pictures here and there. I also had a funny encounter with the photographer who high fived me when we found out that we were not only shooting with the same camera but also had the same lens mounted. He seems to be as much in love with Fuji as I am and had sold his old Canon gear a while ago to exclusively shoot with two X-T1s. I wish we had talked a little bit more about photography because I - for example - saw that he had used remote flash triggers which I thought didn’t exist yet for the Fuji hot shoe.

The wedding reception was held at the Orchard Lake Country Club which had an amazing atmosphere. The weather was just perfect and the party was a blast. I didn’t have that much fun in quite a while. I’m very happy for the two who will now take off for their honeymoon.
